xThe ERD Heavyweight Washed Hoodie in Retro Blue is a garment-dyed, heavy-duty sweatshirt built around intentional surface degradation. ERD's approach to outerwear starts with the wash — a destructive finishing process that breaks down the fabric's surface, fades the dye unevenly, and introduces texture and tonal variation that new fabric cannot replicate. The Retro Blue is not a clean blue. It reads as a blue that has been somewhere.
The "heavy industry" construction refers to the weight and construction of the base fabric before washing. Starting with heavyweight cotton fleece means the wash process produces a garment that still holds structure and body after distressing — rather than a limp, over-processed shell. The weight is present after washing. The silhouette holds.
Construction
Heavyweight cotton fleece base. Garment-washed and distressed finish — each piece carries slight tonal variation as a result of the dyeing and washing process. This is intentional; no two pieces are identical.
Wash & Finish
Retro Blue wash: a muted, faded mid-blue with uneven tonal distribution across the body. Heavier fading at stress points — seams, cuffs, hem, and hood opening — consistent with authentic garment-wash technique.
Hood
Oversized hood with drawcord adjustment. The wash process extends into the hood lining and outer surface.
Pockets
Kangaroo front pocket.
Cuffs & Hem
Ribbed cuffs and hem — faded and distressed consistent with the body wash. The ribbing retains elasticity despite the distressing process.
Fit
Oversized American silhouette. Designed for a relaxed, dropped-shoulder fit. Size down for a more structured wear, size up for maximum volume.

xReturns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
